Adult Life Skills Training

• The Emancipation Department provides an extensive formal life skills training curriculum designed by GP Community staff and conducted by the in-house life skills coordinator. Some youth, referred to us prior to emancipation by way of their teachers and early social providers are enrolled in an off-campus program.

• Depending on the child’s need, he/she may be given extra academic tutoring, social skills counseling or micro-therapy. All youth referred are eligible for this experience, but it is a requirement for youth progressing to one of our housing options.
